Abstrakt
The title applies to period of the communistic regime since 1949 till 1989. Till the Second World war our country was a cross-road between East and West and North and South.
Even during those forty years of closed frontiers there were organized important international congresses and conferences, where czechoslovak burn specialists participated. They used to be invited by the burn assiciations abroad, or they were organizors of natioanl meetings with international participation, as demonstrate front covers of the authentic programmes.
On November 1989, the frontiers opened, but there appeared many problems in economical, social and ethical spheres.
