Abstract

Endometriosis is characterized by the presence of functional endometrial glands and stroma outside of their normal location, which is in the uterine cavity. Was found in virtually all tissues of the human body outside the spleen.

This disease causes problems not only for gynecological patients, but also surgery, pulmonary medicine, urology and other medical fields. The typical patient is a woman between 30 and 40 years, the highest incidence of endometriosis in women with a diagnosis of sterility and pelvic pain, which exceeds even 50% of all cases.
