Prevention of influenza by use of intradermal vaccination

Publication at Third Faculty of Medicine |
2009

Abstract

Intradermal vaccination against influenza represents a new method of protection against the heavy incidence disease. For its very good immunity response, intradermal injections are frequently used for many types of vaccines.

Results of clinical studies are presented and the system of intradermal microinjections for vaccine administration is introduced. Sensitive vaccination can increase the prevalence of vaccinated persons and thus decrease morbidity and mortality of influenza.
