Abstract
Uterine fibroids represent the most common benign patology of the female reproductive system. The exact prevalence is not known, but seems to be underestimated.
Analysis of definitive histopathological specimen evaluation after hysterectomy shows almost double incidence according to the clinical incidence. The risk of the presence of a myoma in a woman over the age of 45 is more than 60%.
