The article deals with armed conflicts in international humanitarian law (IHL). The first part deals with the question whether the IHL standard for authentic rebel groups and, if so, on what legal grounds and to what extent they do.
The second part focuses on the issue of liability for breach of rebel groups, the obligations arising from the IHL and the application of the terms of this liability.
