Abstract

Systemic allergenic reactions to Hymenopera sting affects only small part of general population; however some of those can be life-threatening or even fatal. It was shown, that allergen specific immunotherapy with allergen of appropriate venom is sufficiently effective to prevent recurrent IgE mediated systemic allergic reaction.

We analyzed basic demographic, epidemiological and immunological features in relationship with the disease characteristics, in a cohort of 422 patients.
