Abstract

Novel biomarkers contributing to heart failure pathophysiology included copeptin and proadrenomedullin have additional prognostic information when assessed together with natriuretic peptides. The purpose of the present study was to assess correlation of copeptin (COP), adrenomedullin (proADM), proBNP and proANP with NYHA class, LVEF and other parameters in CHF patients with ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy and subjects with arterial hypertension followed at tertiary care heart function clinic.
