Abstract

The opinions on treatment of heart attacks complicated by a right bundle branch block have been changing over time, in the recommendations issued by various cardiologic societies. In this text, the authors include the abstract of an article published in the online version of the European Heart Journal in 2011 and in its printed version in 2012.

The article presents the results of a multi-centric retrospective analysis that was meant to determine what coronarographic findings are made in the patients suffering from a myocardial infarction and a right bundle branch block, and what percentage of them is treated by a primary PCI.
