Oral clonidine in premedication for laparoscopic cholecystectomy - a comparison of different protocols

Abstract

Oral clonidine (C) 0,25 mg did not suppress haemodynamic changes caused by laparoscopic cholecystectomies. Other parenteral forms (0,15 mg i.m., 2 g(kg and 4 g/kg i.v.) are equally effective.

The authors recommend routine premedication 150 g C i.v. beforlaparoscopic cholecystectomy
