Development, breeding type and diet of members of the Amara communis species aggregate (Coleoptera: Carabidae)

Abstrakt

Rearing experiments proved breeding type without larval dormancy in all species: A. communis, A. convexior, A. pulpani, A. makolskii. All species were able to survive on pure insect diet to adult stage.
