Abstract
The paper presents the public participation in matters of prevention and repair of damage to the environment according to Czech law, de lege lata and de lege ferenda. It is about a specific topic were due to the need for transposition and implementation of the European Parliament and Council 2004/35/EC on environmental liability with regard to prevention and repairing environmental damage.
