Abstract

Multivariate statistical methods were applied on section in which non-quantitative methods do not alow classification according to species composition of foraminiferal assemblages. Factor and cluster analysis suggested new classifications of samples accoding to species composition of assemblages.

Relation between the species composition of assemblages and character of their postmortem transport and resedimentation was confirmed.
