Titerina, a living fossil in the Ordovician: A young protoconodont (?) and the oldest chaetognath animal

Abstract

Chaetognath affinities of Titerina rokycanensis are discussed. Grasping spines of this species are considered as possible protconodonts.

In some respects, Titerina is considered as Ordovician living fossil.
