PS II particles extracted with various detergents from the thylakoids of the thermophile Synechococcus elongatus

Abstract

Thylakoids from Synechococcus elongatus were extracted with nonionic detergents n-dodecyl-D-maltoside (DM) and n-heptyl-D-thioglucopyranoside (HTG) and characterized by means of oxygen evolution activity plus chlorophyll fluorescence parameters.
