The influence of limited language proficiency of the children on communication obstacles in bilingual teaching/learning of mathematics

Abstrakt

In the paper, the focus is given on qualitative aspects of teaching/learning mathematics in a foreign language, esp. on the language of the pupils and the conflicts the limited language can bring. Suggestions for eliminating these conflicts and their negative influence on learning are presented.
