Cube solids as an environment for the development of spatial visualization

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2008

Abstract

Geometrical environment of cube solids is a domain of 3D geometry which significanly helps to develop spatial visualization and also to learn about geometrical objects both 2D and 3D from the first grade of primary school. Exceptional possibility to represent objects using several different languages both conceptual and procesual contributes to better understanding of geometrical objects and relationships between them.
