It is widely recognised that early years of care and education play a decisive role in promoting the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of young children and have the potential to motive and prepare for lifelong learning. Pre-school education contributes to the increase of childrens social and cultural level and creates optimal conditions for his/her personal development.
The purpose of this article is to document contemporary approaches to early childhood education, investigate thepolicy responses and highlight innovative strategies and practices.
