Abstract
The author submits basic information from the sphere of medical ethics as a modern medical discipline. After mentioning briefly its history, he reviews moral theories which can be applied in medical ethics and two basic patterns of moral reasoning in medicine.
Finally he draws attention to some moral problems of contemporary psychiatry.
