Assesment of cytokines CD4+T lymphocytes in HIV-1 infected patients and the impact of HAART on that expression.

Abstrakt

To assess and characterise changes in expression of IL-4 and INF-g on CD4+lymphocytes during HIV infection.Our results demonstrate significant elevated expression of Th-1 (IFN-g) and Th-2 (IL-4) cytokines in a group of HIV patients treated by HAART at least 6 month.IL-4 production was slighly higher in patients with HAART than in HIV negative control group.Long-lasting expression of cytokines during HAART is probably welcome sign of the immune system reconstruction.
