Abstract
Model Programme for Public Libraries, launched and funded by the Danish Agency for Culture and Realdania, offers an interactive, web-based inspiration catalogue and tools that are to communicate new knowledge, best practice and inspiration for brand new space and function interplay for library developers. This article highlights new findings and proposals in the area of functional interiors libraries (including examples of good practice) and compares the Danish program with the Concept of Czech Libraries Development in the years 2011-2015.
