Iodoacetic acid as a Potential Elicitor of Increased Formation of Flavonoids in the Culture of Ononis arvenis L. in vitro

Abstract

The effect of 4 different conc. of iodoacetic acid on flavonoid production in callus and suspens. culture was investigated. The maximal increase by 586 % in the flavonoid production took place with 1 mg/l of iodoacetic acid, 529 % in callus culture
