Abstract
Theoretical part of the thesis deals with antiprotozoal activities of chalcones nad their analogues. Experimental part is concerned with the synthesis of (E)-3-(3-nitrophenyl)-1-pyrazin-2-ylpropen-1-ones substituted with an alkyl in the pyrazine ring
