Quarternary heteroarenium salts as competitive inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase

Abstract

Monoquarternary and bisquarternary salts derived from selected nitrogen-containing heterocycles were prepared. Their activities were determined using a standard in vitro test on the homogenate of rat brains.

SAR data were derived from the results.
