Abstract

Multiple endocrine neoplasias (MEN) are diseases with a familial occurrence in which a patient has a simultaneous or gradual tumor involvement of several endocrine glands. MEN is rare (1: 25,000 to 1: 50,000).

The disease is inherited autosomal dominantly, with a high degree of genetic predisposition, but with variable expressiveness.
