Umbilical cord prolapse is an acute obstetric situation that can endanger fetal life. We fully agree with the authors of the article on this.
It will be worse if we want to define the prolapse of the umbilical cord. The agreement between the Anglo-American and Czech nomenclatures does not work very well here.
From a nomenclatural point of view, Anglo-American nomenclature seems more precise, from a practical point of view, even in terms of the result, I do not see any differences.
