Abstract
Metallothionein involved in the metabolism and detoxification of heavy metal homeostasis, participate in protecting the body against free oxygen radicals arising and promote regeneration of damaged tissue. An important issue is the effect of metallothionein on the therapeutic concentration of drug administered, and thus the likely emergence of chemoresistance of tumor cells.
