Abstract

We present 4 cases of very rare pediatric dermatoses (acrodermatitis enteropathica, neonatal lupus erythematosus, eosinophilic pustular folliculitis, diffuse cutaneous mastocytosis). All of them were originally misdiagnosed and treated like atopic dermatitis.

Atopic dermatitis is the most common inflammatory dermatosis in pediatric patients and its incidence is increasing, but we must not forget that another uncommon diseases exist, which have similar symptoms.
