Conus crowns and hypodontia patient reconstruction

Publication at Second Faculty of Medicine |

Abstract

Partial anodontia, known as hypodontia or oligodontia, is the congenital absence of one or more teeth. The treatment of the patient is a multi-task of specialists of oral surgery, orthodontics and prosthodontics.

Despite functional and aesthetic considerations, the main problem of all treatment is that it had to be performed in a growing child. This case report evaluated the implant-driven concept.
