Abstract
The paper summarizes current knowledge on the relationship between hormonal contraception and the risk of selected malignancies. Due to an enormous heterogeneity of the hormonal contraception drugs a drawing of a firm conclusions is difficult.
The literature search through a Pubmed database has been performed.
