This contribution deals with the interconnection of wind and postural functions within a particular pathology of the respiratory system. The study was conducted on a set of probands who were selected on the basis of spirometry testing.
Selected individuals had some spirometric parameters on the outside limit of normal or standard reference values. Pathology had the character of obstructive respiratory insufficiency.
Pulmonary function was correlated with the clinical examination physiotherapist. One group underwent a four-month intervention, the second group was the control.
In the therapy we started from the assumption that there is no respiratory insufficiency due to pathology of lung function, but because of the broken harmonization respiratory and postural functions. Therapy focused just on the harmonization of breathing-postural function.
The study results point to the link between respiratory and postural functions.
