Masked hypertension in diabetics compared to the non-diabetic population

Abstract

In the article the contemporary points of view on the masked hypertension are presented with the special interest in its prevalence and importance in diabetic population. Apart from methods, the importance of another cardiovascular risk factors, target organ damage and the impact on cardiovascular prognosis are discussed some unresolved problems connected with the masked hypertension.
