The article deals with the issue of baby boxes especially in connection with the Concluding observations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child of June 2011 for the Czech Republic. This Committee, a body established under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, examines how the State Parties comply with the obligations under the Convention.
The Concluding observations of June 2011 except other problems point out the most considerable legal difficulties (as current as future ones) caused by the use of the Baby Boxes that in the same time infer that the Czech Republic does not follow its international law liabilities.
