Abstract
The authors deal with suicidal behavior in children and adolescents. Examined 38 patients (7 boys and 31 girls) hospitalized in 2004 after the suicide attempt at Children's Clinic pychiatrické FN Motol.
In the prevailing method of file design intoxication with medication (31 patients, ie 81%), frequent motive for suicide-related events are family conflicts, often in combination with partner conflicts and vrstevnickými. As the current psychopathological symptoms was found in 79% depressive symptomatology and 39% behavioral problems.
The disharmonických personality traits prevailed impulsiveness and sensitivity. Apparent is a risk factor for dysfunctional families.
