Haematocolpos, accumulation of blood in frequently markedly dilated vagina (and subsequently in uterus - hematometra) in adolescent girls originated due to hymenal atresia, partial aplasia of vagina or presence of transversal vaginal septum. It becomes manifest during puberty as a cyclic pain in hypogastrium and amenorrhea.
