Abstract
The loosening and other complications of total joint replacement are important problems of modern orthopedics. The reason is the massive expansion of the application total arthroplasties (particularly hip joint), which subsequently moved to center stage revision procedures of these total replacements.
Team of authors composed of leading Czech orthopedic surgeons and other professionals on corresponding medical fields created an extensive monography conceived as a guide for orthopedic surgeon including analysis of the main causes of complications, operating instructions for revision procedure and exploration of any further problems in relation with revision surgery.
