Abstract
A number of articles on IgA nephropathy have been published in the journal Nephrology 2002, 7, pp. S73-S172.
It is a set of lectures from a symposium held in November 2001 in Kzongju, Korea. This symposium is held every 2 years and always summarizes new findings about this disease.
Unlike the first ones, only the invitation of speakers speaks here, it influences free communication. A very good review of IgA nephropathy was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in September 2000.
It contains, among other things, a critical assessment of current knowledge about the treatment of this disease.
