Abstract
The textbook is intended for all bachelor's students of medical and health social faculties and higher vocational schools with a medical focus. The publication is specifically designed for graduates of all non-medical disciplines, who must know the etiology, manifestations and diagnosis of individual pathological conditions from the perspective of either diagnostics (for study fields focused on diagnostic methods such as medical laboratory assistant or radiology assistant) or therapist working under direct or methodical guidance. (for study fields physiotherapist, paramedic, midwife, nutritional assistant and others).
The skills and knowledge that students will acquire after studying the textbook will not only help them to provide quality care to patients, but also to become equal members of the medical team. The members of the author's team are highly erudite experts who participate in the teaching of the above-mentioned health professionals.
The publication perfectly manages the interpretation of complex issues in such a didactic way that the text is beneficial for the reader and becomes the basis for meeting the required knowledge. The textbook is divided according to the individual disciplines of internal medicine and supplemented with basic information from internal propaedeutics, as well as an overview of symptoms and syndromes and the basics of crisis management in health care.
