Many specialist articles have been written in journals and a number of books have been published over the past few years on the treatment of type 2 diabetes with oral antidiabetics (PAD), in particular on new groups of these drugs and innovated preparations. The author has compiled a brief overview of the most basic and essential information that a doctor needs for the proper clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes using PAD.
Individual thematic areas of selected findings are presented in the form of "ten". The concept of the book is intended for general practitioners, internists and physicians of other specialties who treat patients with oral antidiabetics.
The text could also be a source of instruction for other professionals who want to quickly understand the basic principles of this treatment. In the end, several case studies from practice are presented.
