Abstract
Lyme borreliosis is an infection that can affect several organ systems - skin, nervous system, joints, heart and eye. The clinical picture of Lyme borreliosis is highly variable.
The basis of treatment is antimicrobial therapy, which is always necessary to apply, if infection is diagnosed and the patient hasn't been treated so far.
