Long QT syndrome misdiagnosed as epilepsy - case report

Abstract

Cardiac syncope can imitate epileptic seizure and that can lead to misdiagnosis.We report a case of seventeen years old girl suffering from repetitive loss of consciousness during physical activity. Long QT interval was misdiagnosed and managed as epilepsy for several years.
