In the evaluation of exercise stress test in athlete or even in patient, it is critical to take into account not only health state but also his or her physical activity. It is easier in athletes because most of their physical activity is provided with training.
But most of physical activity in patients falls within habitual physical activity which is harder to asses. There is no sensor cheap and accurate enough for assesment of habitual physical activity in clinical setting.
Questionnaires provide reasonable cost-to-benefit ratio. We reviewed avilable literature about validated questionnaires for children and adolescents.
We present localized version of "Three Day Physical Activity Recall" (3DPAR) - validated instrument for assessing physical activity in youth.
