Abstract

Abnormal uterine bleeding is a daily problem for all gynecologists. Everyone has their own procedures and diagnostic-therapeutic algorithms.

Nevertheless, it is interesting to follow the discussion and opinions on this issue from the perspective of American gynecologists and between the lines and their problems with the insurance and reimbursement system. Abnormal bleeding can significantly reduce the quality of life of many women.

The truth is that the objective determination of the intensity and severity of bleeding is difficult in many cases, and the basic guide is the individual perception of the difficulty of bleeding.
