Abstract
The principle of chemical methods is surface circumscribed effect of substances described as caustics. The use of these substances, mainly alpha-hydroxy-acid-fruit acids, phenol, and trichloracetic acid, leads to stimulation of regeneration processes in skin.
Mechanic abrasion of skin with use of special creams and pastes with abrasive substances is called mechanical peeling.
