Abstract
The therapy of pain in orthopedics is an indivisible part of the treatment of orthopedic diseases. By therapy it is not meant only pharmacotherapy although it is the most common one.
Regime measures, physical therapy, mobilization, manipulation and rehabilitation, thermotherapy (incidence of cold) but also psychotherapy may act as analgesia. Correctly indicated surgical therapy removes through the acute painfulness the chronic long-term pain and the pain, which occurred acutely.
