Despite the long-known and used therapeutic potential of medicinal products from the group of central muscle relaxants, there is still no clear belief among the professional public about their clinical effect. The cause of such a situation could be found, for example, in the wrong indication or inappropriately chosen dose.
In the following overview, however, we will focus mainly on pharmacological aspects, with regard to the different mechanisms of action of individual representatives of this drug group, which is to some extent related to the risk of their possible side effects.
