The study deals with antisocial behavior of adolescents in urban areas, its typology and its relation to substances. The sample was formed by pupils of the seventh and ninth classes of primary schools or their equivalents on the other types of schools in regional capitals of the Czech Republic.

The sample was gained due to the international SAHA project and consisted of 2973 persons. The twelve years old cohort consisted of 1447 persons (54 % of girls) and the fourteen years old cohort consisted of 1526 persons (53 % of girls).

By the means of non-hierarchic cluster analysis (kmeans) of items of antisocial behavior scale, four types of persons were identified. The typology was validated by help of relation to substances (cigarettes, alcohol, marihuana, and hard drugs).

The higher was the measure of antisocial behavior showed by the persons, the more the persons reported the use of substances.
