Abstract
Gastric cancer remains the second most common malignancy worldwide after lung cancer. The presented monograph clearly acquaints the reader with the etiology, diagnosis, treatment and dispensarization of patients with this serious disease.
The book is intended primarily for surgeons, gastroenterologists and oncologists, who are most involved in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with gastric cancer. However, we believe that radiologists and physicians in other fields will find new knowledge in the book, without whose help the current multidisciplinary care of patients with gastric cancer would not be possible.
