Cranioplasty and duroplasty - new modalities and methods

Abstract

Cranioplasty may be performed with autologous bone graft, methacrylate, or titanium mesh. PSI - Patient specific implant is a new method using a 3D CT reconstruction and polyethylene, polyetherketon, or titanim is used to create implant.

Since 2002 till 2009 we performed 64 titanium mesh cranioplasties.
