Abstract
Osteogenesis imperfecta treatment is complex and very difficult. Cooperation of different branches of medicine is necessary.
Surgical therapy is a part of general treatment and could avoid deformities and resolve already developed ones. Methods of surgical treatment differed according to the patient age and grade of disability.
Intramedullary osteosynthesis or external fixation are methods of choice. To find the best method and timing of surgery is open question for future.
