Abstract
Problems of thyroid gland tumors are among the particularly important area of thyroid endocrinology and oncology. These tumors can arise from the follicular epithelium differentiated papillary and follicular tumors.
But they are less differentiated and undifferentiated tumors (anaplastic carcinoma). The common feature of differentiated cancer is the ability to accumulate radioactive iodine.
Tumors differ morphologically as well as biological behavior may require different diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
